I had to put my knitting needles down this weekend :( But the good news is I'm finishing the bathroom...Let the laying of tile begin. Yea!!! an extra toilet in the house again, Which has it down side too, thats one more bathroom to clean... Oh well its worth it. My sweater class was very informative I'm working on the sleeves One more class to go and I will be a knitting sweater machine! I heard from my secret pal... Lucky girl was in Scotland on vacation. I would think that vacation was worth at least 30 hours of knitting on the airplane!!! Who needs to sleep :) Well I'm puttin on some grubbies and then its just me and the tile and grout.. Wish me luck

This is my Sweet Daughter Jenny, the mother of my grandchild that doesent exist yet :( But I have high hopes it will soon. We spent the weekend with my sister knitting, eating, knitting, eating, ect., ect. Oh yea and watching chick flicks!!! I just love it when I get to spend time with my kiddos.

This is my baby, Lindsay! She is doing service in San Antonio with City Year. She has been working with the youth of San Antonio, she is such a sweet thing. Click on the pic to see her up close. She will be comming home in Aug. and then going on a mission for our church in Oct. She will be gone for 18 mos. on her mission. We still dont know where she will be sent yet.

Hey....Look my little grandbaby( that I don't have yet) is now going to have a warm back and half of a warm tummy. Now if my sweet daughter will just hurry up and get pregnant I will be so very happy!!! I still have two sweater classes left. Good thing or the poor little baby will have really cold arms.

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
* Noro, Kureon, Silk Garden... I love to see them felted the colors just POP!

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
* The bag I brought them home in!

3. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
* Beginner

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
* No but I wish I could knit myself a sweater!!!

5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
* Tresor, Fresh scents, cinnamon


6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
* Duh.. Chocolet ...milk chocolet with nuts

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?
* I tiled my Bathroom, Took a class and made new cabnet doors, I make beaded neclaces, I love to garden.

8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
* Yes, and I like soft rock, or somthing to relax and knit too

9. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand? Thats why I love Noro yarn, the colors are so pretty. I also love fall colors

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
* Im married to a great man, he is very supportive in everything I do. We have 7 children most are grown. We love to camp together as a familey, We have one cat that thinks she is a dog and a large german shepard that thinks she is human.

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
* I love scarves, even wear light weight ones to work in the summer.

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
* Well so far my favorite thing to knit it wool purses and felt them. I am also taking a sweater class, I cant wait to get a sweater started for myself!


13. What are you knitting right now?
* Childs sweater in my class and a french market bag out of wool to felt, found the pattern on knitty.com

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
* Yes, hand made is from the heart!

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Bamboo, circular.

16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
* Will I be thrown out of the knitters club if I answer NO?

17. How did you learn to knit?
* From my sister, she is an addict now too

* Im just a beginner give me time! and storage room

* Christmas, because family is close

* Can't think of any right now
